Self-love gift before Christmas

Aloha everyone,

it's exactly one week until Christmas and as you probably noticed every café around has been filled with the winter aura - cinnamon sticks peek at coffee and tea drinkers from behind the cozy sofas and the delicate vibes of carols embrace them again and again.

I know we're busy, but I believe this is just perfect timing to invite ourselves to the café to stop before the real Christmas rush week begins. So what would you like to taste?

The idea for today's post literally came from my favourite local café, where I was with my friend yesterday afternoon. We obviously had an amazing time and it was so precious to meet and keep up with the news, but what I also reflected while sitting there were the times I visited the place purely alone.

Once I read a book, once I wrote a poem, and very recently I've just come to sit and star at the cups and kettles hanging up on the ceiling.

Every single table moment, I could learn how different kind of stop it may be to find yourself spending time somewhere you feel cozy and relaxed, but outside your house. There we generally feel more carefree and comfortable than in any other place in the world, right?

But, hey, what about stretching your comfort zone for a little, and instead of finding it in the place, you could search it in your inner self? To enjoy your own company not only in your favourite café but also in every new public surface filled with complete strangers?

It's surely more popular in a big city, to feel natural about spending time as a single, but this stop suggestion is for all of you who are too ashamed in front of your awesomeness.

Don't be. Invite yourself to the nice place. Don't get embarrassed that someone would consider you as desperate lost soul. Stay confident in your state of self-happiness.

Count and rethink all the good things you did this week. Take pride in them and therefore fill the mind with fresh energy.

Then order a great tea or coffee. Drink it very slowly, contemplating through all senses.

Serve yourself such a simple gift before Christmas.

It'll let you end this year much more peacefully, I promise.
